It was back in 2011 when Charlize Theron, Patton Oswalt, and, Patrick Wilson starred in a film titled Young Adult. With the movie having a comedy/thriller genre, the characters of Oswalt and Theron often end up spending some time together.

In an interview with The Film Experience, the Mad Max: Fury Road actress talked about how she and Patton Oswalt developed a good bond just like their on-screen characters. Theron further stated that the bond also helped them have a natural flow of acting and the friendship didn’t feel forced or fake!

“He didn’t let me get away with my sh*t. I didn’t let him get away with his sh*t. He pushed my buttons, and I pushed back.”

Since Theron was portraying the role of an alcoholic, in another interview, the duo talked about their “acting juice” and how it helped with a lot of the scenes.
