Call of Duty: Warzone is bringing out a brand-new community-based event in commemoration of the release of Verdansk on Warzone Mobile. During this event, players will be able to earn plenty of free rewards, whether they take part or not.
So far, there are a large variety of rewards that players will be able to acquire from this community-based event, but there are a few concerns when it comes to this event, as the only way players will be able to earn these rewards is through teamwork in a game mode that many won’t play.
Players Can Earn Numerous Free Rewards on Call of Duty: Warzone and Warzone Mobile in a New Event
Currently, a new event is in the works with Call of Duty: Warzone, which tasks players with playing in the Verdansk game mode on the Warzone Mobile app. As players queue into this game mode and complete challenges, they will slowly earn the rewards for all players to acquire, whether they play on consoles, PCs, or mobile devices.

During this time, players will be able to acquire multiple rewards, one of which is a new skin for the operator Ghost, known as the Golden Phantom skin. This skin looks rather awesome as it changes the ghost’s mask for a golden horned mask and provides him with golden armour rather than his usual grey-ish black.
An operator skin isn’t the only reward players will be able to earn, as they will also be able to earn some emblems, player cards, and even weapon blueprints. All of these items are fitted with a golden shine that will reflect in the light of Verdansk once again as players drop into one of the most iconic maps in Warzone history.
Whether You Play On Warzone Mobile or Not, Everyone Will Be Granted These Rewards
Now this isn’t to say that players should sit back and relax as others take part in this limited-time event to earn the community awards, but for those who do not have access to a strong enough mobile device to run Warzone Mobile, do not worry about missing out.
All of the rewards that are earned throughout this limited-time event will be accessible to everyone, even if you didn’t take part in the event itself. However, there will be some requirements, as players will be required to link up their accounts to ensure that once this community challenge has been achieved, the rewards will then become available.
Currently, Warzone Mobile hasn’t officially begun with this game mode, but as of March 21st, players will be able to queue into a specific playlist for this community event, which will provide them the opportunity to earn these rewards as they see fit.
What do you think about Call of Duty: Warzone releasing this free skin and other rewards to players? Are you looking forward to Verdansk making its entrance to Warzone Mobile? Let us know in the comments what you think!
