It is reported that a crossover with the popular science fiction anime franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam, will be making its way to the game in Season 4. What’s more exciting is that it will also bring one popular weapon as a blueprint and a finishing move, if the dataminers are to be believed.
Call of Duty Is Reportedly Getting a New Crossover With Gundam
Call of Duty has received several crossovers, and it would not be surprising if the game collaborated with Gundam, but players have noticed something that has got them beyond excited. According to recent reports, the iconic ‘Beam Saber’ from the animated series is coming to the game with the Season 4 launch.
The ‘Beam Saber’ will be added as a blueprint and will also be used in a finishing move. This comes after dataminers leaked an unfinished execution in the game with animation that heavily resembled the style of the anime. The unfinished execution also seems like it has moved past early development, and fans are now sure that a Gundam crossover is guaranteed.

Season 4 is currently scheduled to launch on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, and will reportedly add new weapons, multiplayer maps, and new events, among other things. However, it is hard to say for certain what exactly the new season will bring. Moreover, players are also advised not to get their hopes up regarding the crossover until there is an official announcement from the developers.
Several Other Collaborations Are Rumored for Season 4
While the Gundam crossover rumor has excited fans, it isn’t the only one that is said to be coming next season. Call of Duty dataminers have reported that the game might get a few other crossovers, including Fallout and The Crow.
These crossovers are expected to launch in Season 4 with brand-new content for players. The Fallout franchise has seen a rise in players with the success of the recently released Fallout TV shows on Amazon Prime Video.
It is safe to assume that the collaboration is aimed at boosting the popularity of the franchise and getting more viewers for the TV show, but it cannot be said for certain how the franchise will make its way to the game.

As for the other rumored, The Crow crossover, it is speculated that it is tied to the upcoming re-release of The Crow movie, starring Bill Skarsgard, to celebrate its 30th anniversary, which is around the same time as the debut of Season 4. However, it hasn’t been confirmed yet, and players have to wait for the official announcement regarding the new season launch.
