Dark Aether Rifts in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Zombies will have many new additions
Fans are very active in the Modern Warfare Zombies mode that was added with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This particular mode changes a lot in comparison with past iterations of this kind of game mode. In other games, this mode will add famous actors and actresses, like characters from the history that the zombie mode presented. But for this new Modern Warfare 3, Activision decided to make the zombie mode part of the Warzone map, not being as detailed as other versions.
According to HeyImAlan on X, this user posted the future content that will be added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Zombies. This code leaked from the game shows the Rift items that will be available in the game in the upcoming seasons.

Apparently, there will be 12 items left in the next three seasons of the game. Things like a doll, a PHD thesis, a suitcase, and many more. As players will know, the first and second seasons of Modern Warfare 3 Zombies each came with four items to find, resulting in a Dark Aether Rift opening and transporting players elsewhere.
All parts of the Dark Aether Rifts are very difficult to access if you don’t have a complete squad to vanquish all enemies.

In the current season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, the mid-season update brought things like Warhammer 40K: Space Marine collaborations and has currently introduced the Dune collaboration with a personalized skin of Paul Atreides from the movie. According to some rumors and leaks, season 3 will have a collaboration and in-game events about Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
Activision has not revealed anything about the next installment of the franchise, but rumors are circulating that the next game will be a Black Ops game that will be set just after the events of Black Ops 2. There is no confirmation yet, and the company has historically waited until the second half of the year.
