An account on X that’s known to leak content related to Call of Duty recently posted about a mode that will be included with the upcoming mobile title, which is already a proven fan-favorite. If implemented properly, it could be a major factor in the mobile title being a massive hit. However, being a rumor, it’s best to take the following details with a grain of salt for now.

Rebirth Island and Verdansk are the two confirmed maps so far. There was no confirmation about whether or not the Zombies mode will launch on the same day as the title, or if it would be a post-launch mode.

Players will have a clear picture of it once the title launches on mobile devices in a few days. Zombie mode was one of the positives from last year’s Modern Warfare 3, as several players favored it.

There are also speculations that Zombies mode on Modern Warfare 3 will add new content in upcoming seasons. For now, fans are staying optimistic and hoping the rumors come true.

Warzone Mobile Will Add More Maps Post-Launch

Replying to a fan who commented hoping to get more multiplayer maps in Warzone Mobile, the leaker said there will be more multiplayer maps. Another fan replied that the Zombies Mode could just be a timed Halloween event.

Shaun Weber, who provided the rumor about the game before it was even announced, predicts the Zombie mode may not be available at launch. He also mentioned the Zombies mode could well be a mobile variant of Outbreak, found in the popular title, Black Ops Cold War. Fans are staying hopeful for now, and are waiting for more confirmed details once the game is out.

The description for the game mentions that the mobile title will have the “highest live player count in any mobile FPS Battle Royale game in history.” The game has generated a lot of hype already and it could well be true.

With last year’s Modern Warfare 3 not doing as well as expected, Activision would be pinning its hopes on the upcoming mobile title to do exceedingly well.
