Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III 6 vs 6 Maps

It would not be a Call of Duty game without fun multiplayer maps, and the season two update comes chalked full of them. Fans can expect at least four maps including both old and new locations. The Departures map features Zakhaev International Airport. This map is meant to provide a competitive environment for a 6v6 game.

The goal of this map is to offer a large combat range suitable for all types of combat, leading to a swift and strategic style of gameplay. This map offers engaging gameplay with varied terrains which grants the opportunity for both long-distance and close-quarter combat.

Stash House, as the name implies, offers an intense experience as you and your team engage in a chaotic assault within the confined spaces of a recently raided Bay Area stash house. Once you arrive, you’ll have to overcome various hurdles, such as hidden cash stashes in the garage and a suburban ranch house filled with scattered cash and glass windows.

This map features an open-plan living room, den, and kitchen, along with an outdoor bar area, a hot tub, an additional dwelling in the backyard, and a central Atrium chokepoint where most of the combat takes place. It’s a compact map, similar in size to Shipment, and is ideal for gaining XP and participating in high-intensity gunfights.

The popular Call of Duty: Vanguard map returns as a mid-season release, offering a more lively and open environment with fewer destructibles for faster gameplay. Whether you’re looking to cause chaos or earn experience points, you’ll find non-stop action as you navigate through the narrow central corridor or make your way through the flanking paths along the outer edges. The updated version features new compass labels, easily identifiable blue and orange spawn points, and a luxurious penthouse setting.

Two additional horror-themed variant maps emerge in the form of Airborne, where a deadly disease of alien origin spreads throughout Terminal, and the Burger Town restaurant is infested with cockroaches. Skidrow is now called Skidgrow, with nature reclaiming the area as every corner is covered in mold and moss, while vehicles are strangled by green, vine-like tendrils.

War Mode gains a brand new expansion set in downtown Urzikstan, allowing players to skydive to the rooftop of a skyscraper and navigate a multi-level construction site. The combat will find one team establishing an exfil point at a Portable Decontamination Station before the extraction helicopter arrives.

5 Game Modes, Vortex: Decay’s Realm in Call of Duty Multiplayer

Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint are the game modes available in the Vortex: Decay’s Realm playlist. You’ll get to play on a variety of eerie maps, including Tetanus, Satan’s Quarry, and Sporeyard, as well as the aforementioned Skidgrow and Airborne.

Five new game modes include:

  • Team Gun Game: Where players work in teams to eliminate rival players and progress through a set of eight predetermined weapons.
  • Snipers Only: Players engage in long-range shots, and closer takedowns come down to their dexterity, loadout, and correct magnification for their sniper scope. All weapons besides Sniper Rifles are restricted.
  • Hordepoint: Players have to deal with zombies that spawn when a player enters a Hardpoint boundary.
  • Juggermosh: A special third-person perspective Multiplayer mode that introduces all Juggernaut combat. Only air support Killstreaks are available.
  • Bounty: Players need to eliminate enemy players until the score limit is reached to win. Each player has unlimited lives, and matches play similarly to Team Deathmatch.

Call of Duty: Warzone Receives A Resurgence

warzone season 2 call of duty

The High Moon Studios developed Fortune’s Keep will become the go-to destination for old and new Call of Duty players alike. The location offers Resurgence matches, Resurgence Ranked Play challenges, and the Horde Hunt Event. Players who have previously explored the island with Captain Butcher in Call of Duty: Vanguard will recognize some familiar spots in Fortune’s Keep, as well as some new ones.

During Season 2’s launch window, you can expect to see several exciting gameplay features on Fortune’s Keep. These include Zombie Nests and an Eradication Contract. Warzone will also contain four new weapons: the BP50 Assault Rifle, RAM-9 Submachine Gun, SOA Subverter Battle Rifle, and Soulrender Melee Blade.

If you’re a Call of Duty fan then this update comes as stellar news. The additional weaponry, cosmetics, maps, game modes, and more offer an expansive list of options few other games can match. Expect to be on the lookout for this massive overhaul of Call of Duty content later this month!
