Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is currently in Season 3, and the recent arrival of the Reloaded update has added a lot of new weapons, maps, and modes for players. While Season 3 continues, there have been a lot of rumors regarding Season 4 and what it will bring for the last few days.
One of the most talked-about points is the arrival of the new weapons, and one of the best weapons from 2019’s Modern Warfare has now been confirmed to be added to the game with the Season 4 Battle Pass, and fans are elated that they will be able to use the classic weapon once again.
Modern Warfare 2019’s Popular Weapon Is Coming Back to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Several iconic weapons in Call of Duty have been featured in the games over the years, and one of these weapons is the World War II sniper rifle Kar98k. The weapon was first seen in Modern Warfare 2019, and a second World War II variant was also released in Vanguard.
The weapon, when available, was heavily used in the game, but it has been missing since then. However, Kar98k is now confirmed to return to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on May 29th with the Season 4 launch. The weapon will be part of the Season 4 Battle Pass.

It will be available for players to unlock for free. A lot of leaks about the weapon returning to the game have surfaced, and references to this classic sniper rifle were also seen in the game files. Call of Duty‘s official X/Twitter handle replied to a fan, confirming that the sniper rifle is coming back.

However, it is not yet known what the exact Battle Pass sector of the weapon will be. As for the variant of the weapon, it will be 2019’s Modern Warfare variant; at least that’s what the rumors say. The developers have also sent care packages to creators ahead of Season 4, teasing Kar98k.
Fans Are Excited About the Return of Kar98k in the Game
The Call of Duty community has been asking the developers to bring Kar98k for a long time. Given that it was the most popular and one of the best weapons that were used on Caldera in Warzone, it is only fair for the fans to ask.
It seems like the developers finally listened and are bringing the classic sniper rifle to the game. This has fans excited for the next season, and many have also appreciated the developers for listening to the community and not bringing the Vanguard version of the weapon.
