Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 drops on May 29th, and is set to bring a wave of new content for players to dive into. The one debated addition is the Tactical Spring Boots Perk. This limited-time perk can be found hidden in the bunkers on a particular map and gives players unlimited tactical spring speed increases base speed, and reduces fall damage.

Many see it as a fantastic addition, but on the other hand, many fans are frustrated with how this familiar feature is being reintroduced and want it to be a full perk.

Tactical Sprint Boots Should Be a Regular Perk in Call of Duty: Warzone

This isn’t the first time Call of Duty: Warzone has the unlimited tactical sprint feature. During the High Trip Resurgence mode, players could have earned a similar effect by collecting Gummies, scattered throughout the map. Normally, tactical sprint relies on a stamina meter that goes down after only a few seconds of use.

Tactical Sprint Boots changes the game in many ways as it increases base speed and adds an infinite Tactical Sprint improvement to players who obtain it.

Now, the addition of the Tactical Sprint Boots Perk will grant a permanent solution within Battle Royale. Unfortunately, there is a catch behind the new feature in Warzone. Tactical Sprint Boots will be a Perk, but available only on the map of Urzikstan and can be found in any of the accessible bunkers. Moreover, players will need a key card to get into the bunkers in the first place.

This makes it a rather rare item as it can be used in Resurgence mode or any other maps available in Call of Duty, such as Ashika Island, Vondel, Fortune’s Keep, or Rebirth Island.

Tactical Sprint Boots Aren’t Everything

Just like the tactical boots, Soap is returning in Season 4.

While players are excited about the Tactical Sprint Boots perk coming in with the new season, the fact that it is still a test has caused fan outrage and such comments as “We’re about 70% through the 2-year cycle of play testing Warzone and being spoon fed features we used to have”, among other comments bashing on the new addition leaves a lot to be desired. One fan said they are going to play XDefiant in outrage towards the latest addition.

Furthermore, fans have also argued that the Sprint Boots perk won’t even be used in the Urzikstan map, as many players already don’t rely on speed when playing the particular map and if they are going to add the feature do it for a different map such as Rebirth Island.

Not implementing unlimited Tactical Spring Boots as a standard feature, only means people behind the game are still figuring out how the feature will impact the game. Fans still have an opinion and a solution “Make it default for everybody”

Season 4 of Warzone is just a few days away, and though Tactical Sprint Boots is announced as one of many additions to the game, the window of its implementation is still vague. According to reports, it will be in the launch window after Season 4 is live.
