Camping in battle royale titles is a huge headache for the players. Call of Duty: Warzone is not an exception either. To minimize camping in the game, Activision has taken several steps as well. Like the Bunker Buster killstreak in the Season 2 Reloaded update which has literally made it impossible for players to camp inside tall buildings.

Another annoying camping spot is the water towers on Rebirth Island. Since Verdansk, this is the map players have liked so much. But camping in that high position was ruining the game completely. That’s why a new update is on its way to make life harder for the campers in Warzone.

Infil Strike on Rebirth Island in Warzone Is Getting A Much-needed Update

The new Infil Strike feature will eventually make players imposible to camp at the Water Tower in Call of Duty: Warzone.

The recently leaked video of Rebirth Island suggests that there will be a new public event called Infil Strikes in Warzone Season 3. In this event, random and continuous airstrikes will destroy a certain POI (point of interest) in the match.

As a result, a designated POI will get decimated into rubles with a wave of aerial assault. According to the leaks, there will be a total of three POIs that will be hit by the air strikes:  Lighthouse, Prison, and Water Tower.

However, this is a limited-time event, and these map changes are temporary. As of now, there is no official confirmation from Raven Software as how often the airstrikes will hit the POI.

One thing to remember is that this won’t happen in every match. And also, this event will take place one at a time. That means you won’t be seeing two or three POIs being destroyed simultaneously.

Now, there is an interesting part. Every collapse will pave a new avenue for the players, which they can use as per their preference, like for flanking or using it as a cover. For example, when Lighthouse is destroyed, it will allow players to gain height through the rubble ramps to reach the top of the prison. When the Water Tower collapses, it will create new openings for the players.

After the destruction in Resurgence and Fortune’s Keep, players feared most about the condition of Rebirth Island. But surprisingly, players are liking this leaked update very much.

This fan has now started liking Rebirth Island after hating it for long.

No surprise they all hated it after Activision brought unnecessary changes.
