Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile wasn’t an instant success as fans addressed a lot of issues that the developers might take into account. But it’s coming along. Players may curse the blurry graphics or technical glitches hindering the gameplay, but in-game features are being fitted to ease the pain that the game initially delivered.

It shares a cross-progression, which allows players to sync their content with other games in the franchise. So far, whatever the developers are trying to implement in the game seems to be up to the blind alley, as reports suggest player engagement is down by a good chunk already. The new feature they are adding has to work, or the game will likely be in grave danger.

If That is True, There’s No Running from Destiny This Time

Players are leaving the battlefield as it doesn’t offer them the thrill they were expecting from Call of Duty. Warzone Mobile is getting a nuke, it seems, which may potentially attract the players back in the hopes they can do some large-scale destruction in the game.

In an official trailer developers released on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), players saw mysterious nuclear weapon lying near a burning chopper in the game. The post reads, “Survey Team 0529: MIA.” It can only mean one thing; some kind of chemical chaos is brewing in the game.

While the clip almost confirms that players are likely to see Nuclear Contracts, it’s still unclear if there will be any Champion’s Quest like in the PC and console versions of the game. If developers include this, the game will add more thrills and potentially reverse the bad effect it had on users initially.

Champion’s Quest Could Retain Player Engagement in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile reviews initially dropped to 1.6 stars on the Play Store.

Champion’s Quest, originally featured in PC and console versions, requires players to win a certain number of matches to activate it. Once activated, users will need to find three cores scattered across the map to activate the nuke. It’s similar to collecting the dragon balls but summoning the dragon won’t necessarily grant them a wish in this one.

As all the cores are gathered and inserted to get the nuke, they’ll be given some time to defend it before it vaporizes everyone on the battlefield. Others may try to defuse it and be rewarded with hefty experience points upon their mission’s success. To this end, player engagement may return if a satisfactory experience is provided.

The only thing players loved about the game is the return of Verdansk which many have requested be returned on the console and PC versions. Warzone Mobile has already caused several troubles for users, which also affected their device batteries. It’s time developers gave them something worth the time they spent burning their phones.
