Xbox Game Pass was a massive leap for the game industry and seems to be in the right direction. Other major game developers took note of the path Microsoft took and incorporated the subscription service structure that paved the way for modern gaming for a much more convenient experience.
The gaming community was initially skeptical about this innovation and the negative effects it would bring to traditional gaming. Microsoft made it a priority to give their subscribers access to countless games that are available on the service and one major franchise could improve the selection.
Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Are Enthusiastic About the Latest Addition
Xbox has always been the default platform for major third-party titles, especially for massive first-person shooters. Microsoft was on an aggressive acquisition spree last year and Phil Spencer made it his mission to bring the Call of Duty franchise to Game Pass on day one.
The franchise is one of the biggest names in gaming and it would make sense to see it on their subscription service. Fans have been waiting for the latest entry to drop on the service and those days are numbered. Modern Warfare 3 will be available on Game Pass on July 24 and some are excited while some are less than enthusiastic.

The value has always been high despite the flaws and similarities with older entries. Fans are still grateful for the latest entry to grace the subscription service and take it as a sign of goodwill, especially since Black Ops 6 will be available on the service on day one.

Modern Warfare 3 may not be the strongest entry but it does feature plenty of fun game modes and has seen the most improvements. However, some parts could use fine-tuning like the buggy launch of the Get High mode.
The developers try their best to appeal to the community by hosting ambitious crossovers. Perhaps the decision to release the game on Game Pass is part of an elaborate plan to increase the player count.

The beauty of Game Pass is the convenience and providing the players the option to download a game before buying it for full price. There are advantages and disadvantages but players are making the most of what is given.
The developers are putting more effort into the multiplayer by adding new maps. This could appeal to the larger player base. Perhaps this is a sign of a lively online community that will prosper before the next major installment.
The future of the franchise is intertwined with Game Pass. Modern Warfare reboot is a mixed bag of emotions but Activision did nail the next-gen physics. For all its faults, there are still things worth praising.
