Cameron Diaz recently sat down for a conversation with Molly Sims and Emese Gormley, who host the podcast Lipstick on the Rim. On the podcast, Diaz spoke about her upcoming Netflix action-comedy movie and also shed some light on her married life.
Diaz married musician Benji Madden, the lead guitarist of the band Good Charlotte, in 2015. The couple has been married for eight years and have one daughter. While on the podcast, Cameron Diaz made a shocking revelation about her views on personal space between married couples as she expressed a need to normalize separate bedrooms for couples.
“We should normalize separate bedrooms. To me, I would literally, I have my house, you have yours.”
Cameron Diaz further explained that she would prefer separate bedrooms for sleeping between couples while convening in another bedroom for marital relations. Diaz said she would be fine sleeping alone in a separate bedroom.
