Garland is promoting his next and probably last film, Civil War. This movie discusses how the United States could decide to divide several states once again, making things very difficult for the people who are part of this nation. In previous films, the director concentrated more on sci-fi films like Ex-Machina and Annihilation, both of which had great and deep narratives about the use of technology.

A recent interview has revealed that Garland’s Ex-Machina was the inspiration for a great, popular game that is only a few months away from releasing a sequel. Antoniades said that both creatives work together in a not-so-popular game, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.

Antoniades said the following regarding this: “So for Hellblade I thought, right, let’s restrict it to one character; let’s use performance capture; let’s build our own stage to support that one character.” He gave Garland credit for learning to write when they worked together.

This director is very popular for making their own scripts for their movies; this has worked amazingly; critics and moviegoers really praised Garland’s projects.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, the game in which both Garland and Antoniades worked together, was really praised by critics and players; it became a cult title over the years. This title was a reinterpretation of the famous Chinese tale that inspired things like Dragon Ball. The upcoming sequel to Hellblade will be coming very soon, and it will probably be one of the most anticipated games of the year.

The Senua journey continues as the protagonist fights against his own demons, which are part of his mental illness, something that the title knows very well how to make players understand. On May 21, Microsoft will release this title for the Xbox Series S/X and PC. The studio has already confirmed that the game will only run up to 30 fps; this will be one of the few exclusives that Xbox will launch this year.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
