Back in 2017, Hugh Jackman said he wouldn’t play Wolverine anymore, but then he returned to play the character recently in Deadpool 3. Fans are still thinking why Marvel hasn’t gone for a new hero, of which the Harry Potter star is a prime candidate

Daniel Radcliffe’s Body Transformation Had Marvel Fans In Awe

Few of the fans suggested that the ending that Hugh Jackman had back in Logan as Wolverine was perfect and Marvel should have gone after someone new, but it was hard to decide whom. But now the tables have turned. The 34-year-old Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe recently showcased his drastic body transformation in the finale of the TV series Miracle Workers.

In the show, the 34-year-old English actor plays diverse types of characters in each season, and in the latest season, he has been playing a gruesome warrior named Sid. During one scene in the finale, he was seen tearing his clothes to reveal his lean yet muscular body and then moving ahead to ground some giant robots. After the scene was broadcast, fans couldn’t keep calm and went ahead with the idea that he could be the next best Wolverine

After Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman might step down from Wolverine once and for all, though it is still not confirmed, but the rumor suggests that once he steps down It can be either the Harry Potter star or Taron Egerton. However, considering Wolverine’s body and facial structure, the 34-year-old English actor seems more accurate according to the fans. The season finale of Miracle Workers did play a kind of audition for Wolverine for the 34-year-old actor.

What Daniel Radcliffe Had To Say About Wolverine Rumors

The rumors are so strong that the fire has also taken Daniel Radcliffe into its grasp and he had to comment about it when he was interviewed with GQ. The 34-year-old revealed.

“It’s purely a press tour rumor; I say something, and then occasionally I get bored of answering that way so I say something different, and that sets it off again. I should just never open my mouth.” He further added, “I just don’t ever want to get locked into something that I am not sure I will be able to love the same amount the whole time.”

It might show that even if he is offered the role of Wolverine, he might not feel connected to it. However, they are all deceptive, and a character as big as Wolverine can’t be denied that easily, not by any actor. In an interview with ComicBook.com, when the 34-year-old actor again got questioned about his take on the role of Wolverine and he said,

“So many times, people come to me like, ‘hey man, heard the Wolverine news, that’s pretty cool.’ No, I don’t know anything about it. Like, I appreciate that somebody is clearly going like ‘Wolverine’s actually short in the comic books, you should get like a short guy to do it!’ But I don’t see myself, I don’t see them going from Hugh Jackman to me. But who knows? Prove me wrong, Marvel.”

Though nothing is set in stone, things might start to look different now after the finale scene of Miracle Workers. A Twitter account named Daniel Richtman reported that the 34-year-old Harry Potter star has been cast in Deadpool 3 for a secret role. This is big news and if it is true, this might be a dream come true moment for many Marvel fans.
