Dany Garcia, the American producer, businesswoman and Dwayne Johnson’s ex wife and business partner, is slowly and steadily making her name in the producing game in Hollywood. She is following along the footsteps of great film producers including Kevin Feige for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kathleen Kennedy for the Star Wars franchise, Jerry Bruckheimer and his string of successful ventures including franchises like Bad Boys, Top Gun, Pirates of the Caribbean, to name a few.

Dany Garcia started out producing critically acclaimed documentaries including Theater of War (2008) and Racing Dreams (2009), the later, winning Best Documentary at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival. These early successes paved the way for Garcia to start her own production company called Seven Bucks Productions in 2012, with her then ex husband Dwayne Johnson who would be a major contributor, starring in most of the films produced under the banner. She would also start a new management company called The Garcia Companies and TGC Management, which represented high profile actors including Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson himself.
Major Successes and the Rise of the Producer
With a current net worth of $40 million, Garcia has slowly become one of Hollywood’s rising and sought after female producers, joining the likes of Kathleen Kennedy. She has produced many of Dwayne Johnson’s highly successful films starting with Snitch in 2013. This would be followed by many Johnson led films including Baywatch in 2017, the two Jumanji movies in 2017 and 2019, Rampage and Skyscraper in 2018 , Hobbs and Shaw in 2019, Jungle Cruise and Red Notice in 2021, DC League of Super-Pets and Black Adam in 2022. Present Projects and Other Ventures
In August of 2020, Garcia and Johnson acquired XFL, an American football minor league, from its founder Vince McMahon, becoming the first woman to own an equal or majority ownership stake in a major professional sports league in the United States, being its Chairwoman. She has also started venturing into the fashion space in 2021 with her brand called GSTQ, which is slowly becoming a much sought after fashion brand with their motto stating ” Clothing that Reflects your Extraordinary”.
Garcia has a daughter with ex-husband Dwayne Johnson named Simone, who was born in 2001. The college sweethearts had a fairytale romance back in their college years and got married in 1997. Garcia later became his manager.
She later married bodybuilder Dave Rienzi in 2014. Garcia has had a lifelong passion for bodybuilding and exercise, which she credits for her success in business
She has also taken part in many prestigious competitions and done well for herself.
