Invisible Woman (Marvel)
The Invisible Woman‘s abilities have never been resisted before, despite Batman’s brilliance. For the majority of her career, everyone undervalued Invisible Woman, although she is undoubtedly the most powerful figure of the Fantastic Four. Her abilities go much further than making herself invisible. She’s also completely undetectable while using them, so even if Batman figured out a way to combat them, she might sneak up on him and knock him down before he could use it.
Zatanna (DC)
Batman is well aware that magic is an ability for which he has no defense, thus he strives to be on Zatanna‘s good books as much as possible. He’s witnessed exactly what she’s capable of because she’s previously mindwiped him. While he may have a strategy to cope with her, it is far from infallible, as even taking away her ability to talk does not diminish her power.
Thanos (Marvel)
Batman and Thanos are quite similar, with the exception that Thanos has immense strength and durability, telepathic powers, immortality, and vast cosmic energy manipulation abilities. Batman has weapons that can be used against creatures in Thanos’ vicinity, but they never seem to work. Nothing Batman could use against Thanos would aid him, as the Mad Titan is just too deadly for him to handle.
Swamp Thing (DC)
When Swamp Thing and Batman fight, the same thing happens every time. He is unstoppable by Batman. Swamp Thing is a colossal force, and his mastery of plant life means he can even manipulate the gut flora in people’s guts. If Swamp Thing is serious about killing someone, no amount of planning will be enough to stop him, even if Batman is the one doing the preparation.
Silver Surfer (Marvel)
The Silver Surfer is simply dealing with far too much for Batman to comprehend. Even if Batman managed to prevent the Power Cosmic, Silver Surfer could swoop in on him, fry him to oblivion, and vanish before Batman even noticed him. Silver Surfer has a vast range of abilities, thanks to the Power Cosmic, and his silver shell is almost indestructible. In addition to that, he’s amazingly powerful and incredibly quick.
