Troy Baker, of Joel from The Last Us fame, is set to be the voice of Indiana Jones in the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This announcement was made at the Xbox Developer Direct on January 18th. And that’s not all.

The recently released Death Stranding 2: On The Beach trailer saw him reprise his role as Higgs Monaghan, the main antagonist of the series. With major upcoming titles on both PlayStation and Xbox, Troy Baker is set to add two distinct chapters to his already illustrious journey.

With Indiana Jones and the Great Circle set to release later this year and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach primed for a 2025 release, fans can expect to see Troy Baker everywhere on their consoles.

Indiana (Troy Baker) Jones Is Set To Take over Console Screens

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

In the Xbox Direct Event, Sony announced their decision to cast Troy Baker as their Indiana Jones. In the Indiana Jones timeline, the story of the game is set after Raiders of the Lost Ark and before The Last Crusade.

Xbox fans have been overjoyed at this announcement with similarities between Harrison Ford’s stellar film career and the dazzling video game career of Troy Barker surfacing. As it does not seem plausible for an 82-year-old Harrison Ford to lend his voice to a 40-year-old character, Bethesda Softworks cast Baker for the role.

The trailer of the game shows a whip-cracking, gun-toting Indiana Jones facing up to his adversary Emmerich Voss along with Gina Lombardi. For the voices, Troy Baker is joined by Marios Gavrilis, Harry Osbourne of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Italian actress Alessandra Mastronardi who makes her voice-acting debut in the game.

Higgs Monaghan is the primary antagonist of the Death Stranding franchise. At the end of Death Stranding, a defeated Higgs’ life was spared by Sam. However, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach sees him make a predicted return with Troy Baker’s voice.

The recently released trailer shows stunning visuals, gameplay, and a brand-new guitar gun with can be used to shoot bolts of lightning and can also be used as a sword. With the game set to release next year, fans can expect more cinematic trailers and teasers to drop throughout this year.

The game will be released for PlayStation and PC gamers have already started to wonder how long it would take for the game to have a PC release.

I travel. I game. I write. In no strict order.

The single biggest lie told all around is, "It isn't that simple." It is simple, everything is. And that is what I emulate in my writing. No unnecessary jargons and no flamboyant flourish. Just what's needed to get your imagination going. After all mind has no limit, unlike the written word.
