Aside from several members of the cast, like Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, and the popular Troy Baker, there is almost no information about the game. This is mainly because of how secretive Japanese gaming companies are about their projects. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach doesn’t seem to be different from this.

One of the actors that worked in the first Death Stranding, Justin Leeper, had an interview with FandomWire talking about how he was working with Kojima and other things. When he was asked if he was a part of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, he answered the following:

I’m currently living in the UK, which would complicate logistics quite a bit. Nothing to report yet, though with the way Japanese companies are very secretive about things, I couldn’t tell you if I was.

So it seems like we’ll have to wait a little before we can get any more news about the upcoming title.

What Leeper said is true; all the information about the game will mostly be revealed when it comes out, especially regarding some actors making appearances in this highly anticipated title. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, as every Hideo Kojima game relays, relies almost exclusively on long cinematics for the story. So, this means that a lot could happen with the actors in the title once it comes out.

In the latest trailer for the game, Kojima Productions revealed that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, exclusively for PlayStation 5, will launch sometime in 2025. The protagonist is played by Norman Reedus, who has suffered one of the things that the world of Death Stranding has: you can get older if you get touched by the rain. Several members of what is left of humanity are seeking to survive and discover how to connect things again.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
