The amount of love Tanjiro receives might have been almost gone, as he doesn’t look like a character that can be a fan favorite. He didn’t have wholesome eyes or the will to help anyone.
He didn’t have both of his arms and had eyes that could pierce the soul. He also had a scar on his face, which used to cover his forehead along with his eyes.
Fortunately, they didn’t go with this design and we got the best version of Tanjiro, which won over the hearts of the audience and played a crucial role in the series popularity.
