Will Hunter x Hunter Anime Return?
After the long-awaited return of Hunter x Hunter’s manga series following a lengthy break, several chapters were released to continue the Succession Contest Arc. The manga of the series continues to generate news whenever author Yoshihiro Togashi returns to write new chapters of the Hunter x Hunter universe. While the Shonen manga series continues to issue new installments, the anime adaptation has been placed on hold following Studio Madhouse’s successful television production. Yoshihiro has not confirmed that Gon’s story will conclude anytime soon, thus it remains to be seen how long Hunter x Hunter will continue in the future.
However, no additional anime projects for the series have been confirmed. If the series does return, it will be intriguing to see if Madhouse will return with it or if a new animation studio will take over Yoshihiro’s most successful series.
