Stephen Amell’s Arrow is one of the most well-received superhero shows on the CW network that started the whole Arrowverse which included Supergirl, The Flash, etc. The series went on for eight successful seasons and Amell’s Oliver Queen went on a great journey, portraying the character’s shades with great conviction.

The show also had Katie Cassidy, Colin Donnell, David Ramsey, and Colton Haynes in pivotal roles for 7 years over 8 seasons. Haynes particularly had a notably reduced role in the final season of the show. In his new memoir, he states that the reason behind it was due to an alleged feud with one of his castmates.

Colton Haynes played Roy Harper/ Arsenal in CW’s hit superhero show Arrow. He played the character for over 7 years over 8 seasons. He was joined by series lead Stephen Amell who played the titular role along with Katie Cassidy, Colin Donnell, and others. Despite being a fan-favorite character. people were shocked to see him in a very limited role in the final season of the show.

In his memoir Miss Memory Lane, the actor revealed that the reason behind his limited appearance was to avoid one cast member of the show whom he couldn’t stand working with. Haynes wrote it as part of the reason why he departed from being the core cast of Arrow. He wrote (via Syfy),

“I had walked away from my full-time job on Arrow at the beginning of the year, supposedly because my contract had ended. but it was really because I was too depressed and I couldn’t stand working with one of my cast mates.”

This is indeed shocking information as Haynes has been a series regular from the first season itself and the cast seem to get along very well throughout the years. While Haynes did not name who the actor was, it could be anyone from the main roster including Amell or Cassidy. It seems we will never know who the person was as Haynes wants to keep it a secret. Fans can watch the show on Amazon Prime.

Before joining the cast of Arrow, Colton Haynes was cast as one of the main leads in MTV’s Teen Wolf. The actor played Jackson Whittemore in the first two seasons. He left the show after that and at the time, many thought it was due to contractual issues. However, in his memoir, Haynes reveals a deeper issue that led to his exit from the show.

Haynes claims that he was not paid as equally as other members of the cast. Additionally, he also reveals that the makers of the show were not fond of his representatives at the time and he believes that they were getting back at them by paying him less money. He said, (via Comingsoon.net)

“The real truth was that they didn’t want to pay me the same amount as everyone else. It didn’t help that I was represented by a team of people who made the Teen Wolf production’s life a living hell. So in order to get back at my team, the production refused to pay me the standard salary.”

Haynes reprised his role in the 2023 film Teen Wolf: The Movie, which was a continuation of the show. Haynes also had a delightfully edgy role as crooked twin brothers in the 2022 Lifetime TV film Swindler Seduction.
