Being an ungentlemanly way to win the war, Ritchie’s upcoming film looks impressive as Henry Cavill takes the lead with some over-the-top madness. In an interview with ExtraTV, Cavill talked about how Ritchie did some over-the-top scenes in the film which were not based on true events. The Witcher actor, however, quickly defended the director by stating that the entirety of the World War was madness and that some scenes were there for just entertainment purposes rather than a real historical lesson.

“World War II. An extraordinary time. Horrendous time. When you really look back at what happened, you realize quite how mad it was. I mean, if you made it up, people would say ‘Don’t be so ridiculous. That’ll never happen and things like that would never happen within the war'”

He further continued,

“Yet they did and so, there is a responsibility to speaking to the bravery, heroism, and, madness of people like the SOE operatives. But, at the same time, it’s okay to have some fun with them”

As the interview further continued, Henry Cavill talked about director Guy Ritchie’s unique style of making movies and how the madness of Ritchie was necessary for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare!
