Actor Matt Damon is often spotted hanging out with fellow celebrities but there’s one star that Damon can’t get away from: John Krasinski. Damons recently revealed that Krasinski and his wife, Emily Blunt, live in the same apartment as him and he meets them so often that they’re more like family than friends.
The actor also revealed that he has been working hard in the gym mainly because he’s trying to keep up with Krasinski, who is currently getting in shape for director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming film, Fountain of Youth. A release date for Ritchie’s latest project is yet to be announced.
Matt Damon can’t get away from John Krasinski
Actor Matt Damon recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and revealed that he can get away from fellow actor John Krasinski because they live in the same apartment,
“I have John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, we live in the same apartment building so I see them quite often but they are more like family than [friends]. I see him [Krasinski] in the gym every morning and I can’t get away from him.”
Krasinski and his wife, Emily Blunt, live on the 10th floor of the building while Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, have occupied the 11th and 12th floors. The building is called The Standish and is located in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood.

Further in the interview, host Stephen Colbert asked Damon if he is hitting the gym for a particular role or if he is just fond of staying in shape. The actor revealed that he is just trying to keep up with Krasinski,
“I am trying to keep up with John – because John was getting really good shape for this role that he’s gone off to do – he is doing this Guy Ritchie film, so I started training with him every morning, just because I didn’t have anything else to do.”
It was recently revealed that John Krasinski and Natalie Portman have joined the cast for director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming film, Fountain of Youth. The film focuses on two “estranged siblings,” who partner up for a heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth. Not much information about the film’s release has been revealed yet but the production of the film is expected the begin in a few weeks.
