The whole world is right now anticipating the release of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. Despite this huge hype, Spike Chunsoft is giving just regular updates but not a proper release date, and that’s what fans are yearning for more of.
However, the developers are carrying on their trend of updating the fans, as they have announced one OG character will be joining the roster. And it seems he will be teaching a lesson or two in the game.
Master Roshi Joins the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Roster
The new character that is joining the roster is none other than Master Roshi, with the Max Power level. The official X handle of the game has recently shared this update. Roshi was also featured in the Power vs. Speed trailer for the game.

In this game, there is a slight possibility that even at Max Level, Roshi won’t be flying. In that trailer, we have seen him teleporting to Kakunsa and kicking her down all the way to the ground. However, after his attack is completed, we see him instantly descending to the ground.
Now, this can also be a returning feature. In previous Budokai Tenkaichi games, fighters who really couldn’t fly, like Kid Goku or Kid Chi-Chi, were also only able to hover in the air for a short period of time.
Broly Joins Too but Fans Have Eye on Only One Thing
The roster is looking quite fascinating. From fan favorites like Goku and Vegeta to other lesser-known characters like Kakunsa, Toppo, and Dyspo, they are there in the game as well.
To make the roster more exciting, one of the most popular characters, Broly, joins the fun, too, in his Full Power Super Saiyan form. He is arguably the strongest fighter in the universe, so his inclusion takes the anticipation a level higher.

However, fans are not very concerned regarding the addition of Broly or the roster. All they want is a proper release date. The game was announced at The Game Awards 2023, so it explains the dissatisfaction of the fans and their request for the release date.
Sparking Zero is going to be an absolute blast with the OG teacher of our favorite characters.
