While the entire music world has its eyes fixed on this ongoing feud, a few on the gaming side have a few schemes of their own planned out, wishing for Lamar to go berserk on the king of the GamerGate campaign, Mark Kern, AKA Grummz.

A Satirical Post Has People Now Wanting Kendrick Lamar to Take on Mark Kern

To those who choose to remain on the saner side of the internet, Mark Kern is, in essence, a controversy-baiter. The ex-Blizzard developer and owner of the now infamous Firefall bus has been a major proponent of the GamerGate campaign for the better part of the last decade.

Nowadays, though, you’ll find him leading the charge on the ongoing petition #FreeStellarBlade. To put it politely, however, saying that his actions continue to irk a few within the gaming community would be a massive understatement.

The Satirical News website, Palette Swap, in what can only be described as a maximalist effort to mix things up a bit, decided to take a few jabs at Mark Kern and post an article about Lamar making an 8-hour video essay on the guy. Here’s a fictional comment from the article to give an idea of the levels of irony we’re dealing with here:

“I really liked the part where he [Lamar] called Grummz a bum who likes virtual b*tches, then suggested he look at his own real life and figure out what the glitch is.”

The readers, as one may have guessed already, erupted with sheer joy, carrying a growing wish for Kendrick Lamar to actually take on Grummz:

People are now seriously wishing for Lamar to diss Grummz

“Talking to women (you don’t know nothin bout thaaat)” – Benjamin Jones

“A measured response” – Jamison Kimminau, referencing the YouTube Hbomberguy

“GoonerGate in full effect” – Kyla Walker

Perhaps, in a just world, such a face-off may turn into a refreshingly happy reality, but for now, it seems that Grummz will remain busy with his ongoing petition and controversy, while Kendrick and Drake will continue their ongoing feud.

Love Him or Hate Him, Grummz #FreeStellarBlade Petition Continues to Gain Momentum

Putting all jokes to the side for a moment, there’s no denying that Grummz’s #FreeStellarBlade petition continues to grow and put pressure on both Sony and Stellar Blade‘s developer, ShiftUp.

Whatever one may think of Grummz, there’s no denying that censorship and its implementation remain a grey area for discussion. After all, it’s a rather difficult task to determine when censorship on a piece of media is truly harmful or justifiable, which also happens to be the case with Stellar Blade.

Whatever the outcome of this petition may be, Grummz will continue to remain the clown of the town for the day, and who knows, Kendrick Lamar may just face him in the future, given his track record.
