Kevin Hart Reveals Discussion With Dwayne Johnson For Jumanji 4

Kevin Hart spoke with Variety at the 2023 Oscars and talked about working with Dwayne Johnson again for Jumanji 4. The actor revealed that the upcoming project will commence soon and that they have big ideas for the film. He also shared:

[We’re] just figuring out the thing that can act as what would or could be the final chapter of he and I. We feel we need something big to put our duo to an end and not just leave it undone like something that we can say, ‘this is going to be our last and final movie.’

Hart plays Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, a character from the Jumanji game, who serves as a weapons carrier and a zoologist. The actor also hinted that he and The Rock would possibly come up with a new project soon:

We’re talking about it. It could be another franchise. It could be something big, but [we’re] trying to figure out what that thing is.”

Kevin Hart’s update made it clear that the studio has not started production yet, so everyone could expect that the project may take a while. Despite so, avid fans need not worry because a fourth installment is coming soon.

The main cast is expected to reprise their roles, although there has been no confirmation yet of the official lineup. In an interview with Collider, Garcia said:

All of the actors are super busy. So the timing is going to work out great, but we have a really great pitch for the movie we’re about to bring into the studio, probably going to get a script written soon.”

The post-credits scene of Jumanji: The Next Level saw the animals released into the real world from the game, which brings more anticipation for the fourth movie. Although there is no announced release date yet for Jumanji 4, all previous Jumanji films are available to stream online.
