Kagurabachi is indeed a great manga, but surpassing Jujutsu Kaisen requires something special. The manga has showcased a great plot and is following a straight path without any diversions.
They also introduced a new character named Char, who is a little girl resembling Anya from Spy x Family. It is often seen that a comic element has proven to be a great asset to the story. Although the manga gained popularity through memes, maintaining the same popularity for the month is not a joke. It goes to show that it has more to offer than just internet memes.
Another reason for Kagurabachi to surpass Jujutsu Kaisen is that Jujutsu Kaisen went on a hiatus, and the viewers were stagnant for that week. Moreover, after taking down Jujutsu Kaisen, Kagurabachi aims for the number one spot by dethroning One Piece in the popularity pole. It looks like a hard task, but not impossible. Kagurabachi was created by Takeru Hokazono. The serialisation began on September 19, 2023. Till now five chapters have been released. The story follows a boy named Chihiro Rokuhira, the son of a renowned blacksmith. His father is assassinated by a group of sorcerers who are looking for the seven magical swords he created.
Now Chihiro Rokuhira is out for revenge with the last magical sword given to him by his father. The manga is published by Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and translated into English by Viz Media and Manga Plus.
