Before he grew to fame because of the role of Rocky Balboa, he was a struggling actor. Getting roles was more than difficult and things were nowhere near as fine and dandy as he wanted them to be.

He was at the lowest point of his career, one he could not get back up from no matter how many roles he was trying for. He was then offered a role in an adult film. Stallone stated that the only two options he had were either to do an adult film or rob someone else. He chose to do the film, The Party at Kitty and Stud’s. The film was made in 1970, one that was also regarded as his first big role.
