The giants making an appearance in the arc probably means that the next arc of the series will focus on the much-awaited Elbaf arc of One Piece. Elbaf is a New World island and kingdom populated by giants, and it is regarded as the strongest country in the world due to its famously formidable army.

Elbaf arc will probably be one of the most important arcs of the series as it will not only help in the further development of the storyline but will also most likely show the anticipated meet-up between Shanks and Luffy. However, one theory explains that the Elbaf arc will probably initiate the end of the world unless Luffy stops it.

Elbaf Arc is Probably the Most Anticipated Arc of The Final Saga of One Piece

The forthcoming Elbaf arc in One Piece is eagerly anticipated since it will delve into the significance of the Giants, who have played important roles throughout the saga. Elbaf is noteworthy not only because of its Giant residents but also because it contains important knowledge regarding the history of the One Piece universe and maybe the Void Century.

The arc is made more relevant by the fact that Jaguar D. Saul, a prominent figure in Nico Robin’s past, survived the tragedy of Ohara and brought valuable books back to Elbaf. Because of this, Elbaf is crucial for revealing some of the story’s most significant secrets.

With unmatched power even surpassing that of the Gods of the One Piece universe, Elbaf is the strongest nation on Earth, which will probably be important in the final battle of the story. The arc is probably the most important arc of the final saga, which will instigate the final war in the series.

Elbaf Arc Theory Explains How One Piece Will End

Early in 2021, u/CM_Renji shared speculation on Reddit, claiming that Elbaf will reveal important information regarding the One Piece universe and that it is, in fact on the horizon. The theory highlights how the Elbafian Giants appear to have strong ties to Norse mythology in terms of everything from names to designs.

In one of the initial chapters of One Piece where Dorry and Brogy are introduced, Dorry refers to a serpent soaked in blood as the one thing he and Brogy can’t pierce, evoking the image of Jӧrmungandr, the World Serpent. According to reports, Jӧrmungandr “grew so large that it was able to surround the Earth” and grabbed its tail.

The image of Jӧrmungandr recalls that of the Red Line from the anime. Legend also states that Ragnarӧk will start when Jӧrmungandr lets go of its tail, which might be seen as a sign of the Red Line’s collapse and the start of the series’ concluding battle, which might involve Luffy’s role in a big way as he is the protagonist of the story.
