However, as fans gear up to play the DLC, some interesting developments have occurred with regard to Elden Ring.

When players got their hands on Elden Ring two years ago, they were thrown into a difficult boss battle with Grafted Scion close to the Chapel of Anticipation. Regardless of the outcome of the fight which is more likely to end in defeat, the player’s character falls off a cliff and awakens in a cave. However, this somehow didn’t make much of a sense. Physically, that doesn’t entirely make any sense.

A famous dataminer of Elden Ring, Sekiro Dubi, recently claimed that they have managed to discover a different beginning sequence for the Elden Ring game. In this opening, the player’s character would have started their adventure on the beach beneath the Seaside Ruins. This sequence of falling off a cliff makes more sense than the existing one.

Sekiro Dubi added that they managed to get the original opening of the game with the help of a note in Japanese that they located in the game’s 2021 network test version along with the aid of a few undiscovered and unused dialogues.

This is definitely a surprising revelation for fans of the game as they dedicatedly wait to get their hands on the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Shadow of the Erdtree to have massive volume

According to a recent exclusive interview with Famitsu, the developers of the DLC have made some surprising revelations. Hidetaka Miyazaki, the man behind the game delved into some interesting aspects of the game during the interview.

When questioned about the DLC’s volume in relation to Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne during the interview, Miyazaki said,

“But speaking about the volume of the DLC, it is clearly larger when compared to DS3 or Bloodborne. It is no mistake to say that this is our biggest DLC ever.”

Miyazaki had previously added that in terms of pure surface area, Shadow of the Erdtree will be even larger than Limgrave in Elden Ring. Moreover, Shadow of the Erdtree will be played out on a completely new map with several types of dungeons as well as open-world sections.

This comes as a piece of great news to fans, as from what it looks by now, all the wait for the DLC will be worth it.
