Fallout 5 and The Elder Scrolls 6 from Bethesda are extremely high on this list, but the first few titles are not what you expected. Fans of games like STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl or Hollow Knight: Silksong are waiting for other kinds of IPs.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of a long list of highly anticipated IPs in the coming months and years. Titles like Marvel’s Wolverine, Indiana Jones, Hellblade 2, and many more. Every type of player has something to look out for in terms of gaming. Xbox Game Pass is one of the main places where players can play any kind of title from day one. This kind of service is really helpful to attract new gamers.

It’s really hard work to measure what games are most anticipated in a year full of announced games and others that don’t have a release date yet. But thanks to the Microsoft service, it is really easy for players to see what games they will play in the upcoming months.

An X account that made charts about the gaming industry made a list of the most anticipated games for the services this year.

The Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 5 Are Not at the Top of the List

Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl is the most anticipated game of this service.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl is the most anticipated game of this service.

This list, made by Baiisun, was really shocking. By making an average of Google searches, this X user made the list of the most anticipated IPs for Game Pass this year. There were no Microsoft group titles leading the list; names like Fallout or The Elder Scrolls were not in the first three places in this ranking. As surprising as it was, it was one of the most anticipated games in, say, Hollow Knight: Silksong.

The first game on this list was STALKER: Heart of Chernobyl, the long-awaited fan-favorite continuation of this amazing Ukrainian studio. In second place is ARK 2, which will have Vin Diesel as a protagonist, and Hollow Knight: Silksong is in third place.

All these titles will be available on Game Pass Day 1. This Microsoft and Xbox service that offers a giant catalog of titles has really opened the possibilities for gaming in general.

Unfortunately, the three games that lead this ranking have no release date confirmed yet, but at least STALKER 2 is planned to be launched sometime this year. The fans are really excited about these specific titles. Each of these has their own fandom that has been waiting for years for these titles to come out. Game Pass will make it possible to play all these IPs in the same place as soon as they are available.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
