He shared,

“You said, ignore Emily, she ate a bad clam last night at one Q &A. Ignore Emily, she’s tripping on mushrooms at another. But we see on Emily tonight, she’s had a few margaritas.”

To this, the actress promptly asserted with a “Yeah” as Kimmel continued,

“Emily’s peaking on a weed gummy right now. And ignore Emily. She’s wearing a Z-Pack of rash cream.”

She promptly began to explain the situation sharing,

“Here’s the thing. And listen, this is going to be such low-hanging fruit because I’ve lost my voice. It sounds like I’ve been raving, I could be on a weed gummy for all we know.”

It was a coincidence that his little joke ended up getting somewhat real at some point, she was explaining the same when the Sherlock Holmes actor decided to tease her a bit as he asked,

“How did you lose your voice?”

The actress gave a savage response stating,

“Because I was screaming at you to take a Z-Pack for your chlamydia that you have.”

Now, that caught him quite off-guard as he was speechless for a moment. However, it was nothing but sweet revenge as she hugged him to clear things up. She later revealed how he did that during every important Q&A session regarding the movie.

While their light humor behind the scenes made things quite interesting, the epic movie also had a lot going on when the cameras were not rolling. She also talked about the lead actor’s injury when he smashed his head open due to a gift.

In the same interview, she recalled a time when she gifted a pillow to her on-screen husband but things went completely awry due to it. All she wanted was for him to get a good sleep as she believed it was what he needed the most at the time.

“I just felt [what] Cillian needed, even more than food, was sleep on this movie. So I got him this very beautiful pillow that I’m obsessed with … it’s a Hästens pillow.”

She further added how he got injured due to that.

“He was really luxuriating in this pillow one night, and he woke up in the middle of the night … and he went to fluff himself back down in the pillow, misjudged where it was … and smashed his head open on the bedside table.”

She continued adding, “So he came to work, and they had to glue his head shut!”

Whereas, the Peaky Blinders star explained that the movie’s makeup designer, Luisa Abel glued his head and helped him mend the wound which was not visible in the movie. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the movie ended up becoming a massive success critically and commercially. It received 13 Oscar nominations including Best Actor for Murphy, Best Supporting Actress for Blunt, and Best Supporting Actor for Downey Jr.
