The ending of Bleach was rushed due to Tite Kubo’s injury and poor health

Bleach from the get-go was nothing short of a masterpiece, became an instant hit among the audience, and quickly rose in popularity.

However, towards the end, fans started to notice more than usual loopholes in the story, and the pace of the story changed rapidly.

The Thousand-Year Blood War is often termed the arc with the most wasted potential as well as the arc with the most random plot moments.

Fans believe that it was mainly due to Shueisha’s pressure on Tite Kubo, forcing him to end his beloved series so rapidly.

But that is far from the truth, as most of the audience doesn’t know, but Tite Kubo was already suffering from a partially torn tendon in his left shoulder, causing him many difficulties.

Tite Kubo himself asked his editors to end the story within 2 years, and later on, it was discussed to end it within 1 year, so the story feels rushed.

If it weren’t for his injury, Bleach would surely be publishing for a few more years, and Tite Kubo would be able to write the story according to his desires instead of being forced to finish.
