During the Shibuya Incident arc, Nanami was almost burned to death by Jogo. After being half-burned, he encounters Mahito, with whom he had a few previous encounters. At that moment, Yuji Itadori arrived, and Mahito used his Idle Transfiguration technique on the blonde Cursed Energy user to give him a horrible death.
