Many of the fans’ favorite characters from Jujutsu Kaisen died in season 2 but the most devastating death was of Kento Nanami. The death of their beloved character at the hands of Mahito—and in front of Yuji Itadori—devastated fans beyond belief. His parting words to Yuji Itadori have also turned into a famous quote from the series.
Not only is the character adored by all fans, but many anime fans also adore Kenjro Tsuda, who plays the character’s voice. Tsuda gained notoriety for providing the recognizable voice of characters such as Bruford from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Atomic Samurai from One Punch Man, Kishibe from Chainsaw Man, and Overhaul from My Hero Academia.
Not only that, but a video recently surfaced showing Kenjiro Tsuda, who voiced Nanami in the Jujutsu Kaisen Japanese version of the series, recording the character’s farewell remarks to Yuji. This video has made fans cry and reminiscence about the death of Kento Nanami.
Kenjiro Tsuda’s Recording Clip Goes Viral
Just a few days after Nanami’s death, a clip of Tsuda surfaced on the internet, where he was seen saying the last words of the character. As Tsuda spoke the character’s last words, it was evident how dejected he was.

Not only was it an incredibly moving moment to behold, but it also shed light on the lengths voice actors will go to to create such unforgettable scenes. Nanami was on the verge of death and was going to be killed in front of Yuji Itadori, with whom he was close, so it was a poignant moment.
Since his anime debut, Nanami has gained enormous popularity, and many find great emotional satisfaction in watching Tsuda deliver those lines. Throughout the entire series, one of the most adored characters was Nanami. And for the fans, witnessing his death was too painful. Tsuda was the perfect voice actor for Nanami and he has proved it many times. Now fans got to see his performance for the last time which made many fans emotional.

As the recording clip surfaced on X(Twitter) fans were devastated to see Tsuda in an emotional state as he said goodbye to Kento Nanami and Jujutsu Kaisen. The clip gave them the idea of how the emotional scenes such as Nanami’s death are shot and how the voice actors prepare for their roles.
While some fans shared their hatred for Gege Akutami for killing Nanami and making Tsuda emotional, others just expressed love for the voice actor and hoped to hear his voice in other anime series as well.

Although, its been quite some time since Nanami and Tsuda left the Jujutsu Kaisen series, fans have been already demanding for Tsuda to make a return to the series for the voice of another character Hiromi Higuruma who also holds much importance in the later part of the series.
