Nothing goes unnoticed by the trained eye, and Elon Musk has been practicing it more since he took control of X/Twitter. When Fallout 4 was being booed over its latest update, he saw something that the community failed to see. However, what he noticed may not be a pearl of great price.

In-game bugs have been bugging players for a long time, and Bethesda is trying to give them quality updates. But that doesn’t seem to work the charm on the community, so the fans are turning their heads toward the mods provided by Nexus to improve their game experience.

Fallout 4 Appears to Have Attracted a Different Kind of Attention

Bethesda might not be good at appeasing all the fans, but the company did that with the X-boss, Elon Musk. Musk himself is a gamer and has confirmed in some interviews that FalloutDues Ex, and Bioshock, are some of his favorite video games.

Recently, he was seen praising the Fallout developer, Bethesda, but not in the way fans would’ve expected. The company recently shared the Fallout 4 update on social media platform X/Twitter as a long-form article, for which the Tesla CEO patted its back by saying it is a great example of organizations using the feature.

At least Bethesda is doing well in the executive eye. The feature was incorporated in March 2024 only, where premium users would be allowed to share articles on the microblogging platform. Since Jack Dorsey left the bandwagon, users have come across a lot of changes implemented to the platform, many of which have also been heavily criticized.

The Community Now Have More Faith in Modders Than the Devs

Fans received the first next-gen update for the game, which coincidentally came at a time that may send anyone into thinking that it’s a part of Fallout TV series’ promotion. Though fans may have been wanting the updates, this certainly was the one they found more of a downgrade.

Thankfully, some modders came to their rescue and undid what seemingly damaged the game’s experience rather than repair it. Some users even suggested that the company may as well stop releasing any patches in the future.

Fans even said they would rather stick to the mods than have these updates give them a hard time. Moreover, the infamous weapon debris crash remained persistent, as noticed by another user after the update. There sure is a lot of noise among the community members concerning the game’s updates, and Bethesda should pay close attention.
