When it comes to gaming, players always look toward playing a game with some of the best stats that they can, whether they be faster frames per second, improved graphics, or even smaller game files, but thanks to one Twitter/X user, we know that Xbox has one step up compared to PlayStation.

According to a recent post on Twitter/X by the user @astaranx, there is a very glaring difference between the two Fallout 3 versions that are available on PlayStation and Xbox, and these differences are making a big impact on those who are fans of the franchise.

From what we can see from the Twitter/X post, the PlayStation version of the game requires a live PS+ Premium subscription to even access the game, and even after accessing the game, it will only run a cloud version of the original game running at 720p with 30FPS.

The Xbox version of the game is considered a native version, which allows players to play the game at 4K60FPS while also avoiding the issue of a cloud service subscription, allowing players to enjoy the game at their own pace.

Whether you are a longtime fan of the franchise or only just had your first introduction, gamers around the world have been flocking to the franchise to find out why it is so unique and interesting to the point it led to its own TV show.

This is what led gamers like @astaranx to go back and look towards games like Fallout 3, as it is one of the classic versions of the game that has many different features that appear within the show as Easter eggs or actual moments in the show.

This isn’t the first time that gamers have been let down by an old game coming into the new generation of consoles, but with no visual upgrades to boast about. Luckily, Xbox has managed to keep the gaming community interested as it continues to bring back classic games with a graphical overhaul to boot, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.

What do you think about Fallout 3 arguably being worse on PlayStation than on Xbox? Are you a fan of the franchise, or have you only just jumped on the bandwagon? Let us know in the comments what you think!
