Players have now found a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 glitch that lets them change the time of the day as well as the weather. Fans have found several in-game tricks and various exploits to have some extra fun and this newly discovered trick lets players change the overall appearance of the game.
New Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Glitch Lets Players Change Time of the Day
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 does not have a day and night cycle after the players complete the game and is stuck in the afternoon. The game does have a variety of looks with evening, night, rain storms as well as overcast weather but the afternoon after beating the game feels like you’re playing in a loop. However, a new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 glitch has been discovered by players and it lets you change the time of the day from day to night and even change the weather.
The new in-game trick was shared by Ben on X, formerly Twitter where they revealed that it is possible to change the weather and time of the day. They shared a sequence of events that players need to follow to do this. If players enter the Mysterio level when the game speed is turned down and replay the mission from the map, they will respawn the game which will be set at night.
This happens because something triggers in the game that changes the settings but it depends on the locations. However, if players are looking to try this, they are advised to save the backup or they may not be able to re-enter the daytime. As for changing the weather, players will have to follow the same sequence that sometimes changes both weather and time at various Mysteriums.
When players try the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 glitch at the Mysterium in Midtown, it will change the time from day to night and if players complete the sequence at the Mysterium close to the bridge on the Upper East Side, it will cause rain in New York City. The best part of this new in-game glitch is that it works at every Mysterium location, not just the above-mentioned ones. The change in weather and time also depends on the locations of the Mysterium.
This Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 glitch allows players to enjoy the game until the new update drops as Insomniac Games have already announced that they will bring more to the game with future updates New Game+ update. There are also rumors and Bryan Intihar’s comments somewhat hint that players could see some awesome new content in the game.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been filled with several references and easter eggs to the wide universe of Marvel including popular Marvel landmarks and character references. The game has a Doctor Strange and Wong reference as well as hidden wind tunnels or a secret room teasing Daredevil and the Hand.
But that’s not all as there is also a Wolverine suit for Miles, a Wakanda Forever salute to honor Chadwick Boseman, and the original Daily Bugle. Players have been finding something new in the game almost every day.
There is also a Gwen Stacy easter egg in the game from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 film as the time on the clock in the game is 1:21 which is the time of her death in the film as well as the issue number of the comic in which she died.
