The Season 1 Reloaded patch update brings new cosmetics, a Gulag event called Night Vision Gulag, the Champion’s Quest, changes to Zombies, two new Weapons, and more. The update was also set to bring Covert Exfil and Weapons Case feature but Raven Software told players a few days that it would not be coming and delayed it indefinitely but it wouldn’t have made any difference.

The patch has left the game broken and players are reporting issues such as loadouts not working and causing the game to crash, players getting stuck in the “Fetching Profile” to get into Call of Duty: Warzone, and even the Precision Airstrike Killstreak notification not showing up. These are just a few issues as players have also reported that they get stuck and can not move as they try opening the “Create a Class” menu.

Moreover, there is a strange kind of wall in the middle of the map popping out of the ground and affecting gameplay and visual glitches for new weapons. The Nuke contract has also been removed, the Gunsmith menu has also been reported crashing, and many more similar issues. Soon after the launch of the update, X/Twitter, and Reddit feed was filled with these complaints, and developer Raven Software issued a statement, apologizing to players for the issue.

Raven Software said that the update does not meet its “standards for quality and gameplay” and will address this issue promptly. It also added that the new Champion’s Quest feature is disabled temporarily and will be reenabled “at the earliest possible opportunity” after the issues are resolved.

Players have bashed the developers for the issue with a player asking the developer if it even tests the updates before rolling them out and if it tries to play the game because “literally everything” is broken.

One Call of Duty player added that this is a multi-billion dollar studio that can’t deliver one quality update, while another took a dig saying the company has brought new bundles for players to purchase. Some players advised others to not open the game until everything is fixed and some wondered how developers manage something like this in almost every update and there are issues in every season.

Social media is buzzing with complaints from the Call of Duty community as players try to play and discover some new issues in the game. The developer has taken up these issues and has assured players to fix it promptly but nothing seems to be easing the player’s anger. It remains to be seen how long it takes before Raven Software rolls out a hotfix for these issues.
