Despite there being no official update from Ubisoft regarding the game, everyday rumors have kept the excitement alive. And with the recent rumor regarding the villain of Far Cry 7, fans are going absolutely crazy. This actor is none other than, Cillian Murphy.

Credible leaker j0nathan has recently shared an intriguing tweet consisting of four pictures of Cillian Murphy, a dynamite showing a 72-hour countdown, a huge crab, and the number 7, respectively.

According to certain rumors, Far Cry 7 will depict a non-linear story based on the kidnapping of the protagonist’s family, which must be completed within 72 in-game hours, which equates to 24 hours in the real world.
The tweet also had a caption in French, which translates into “If nothing changes by then.” This tweet is puzzling, but it could point to the Oscar award-winning actor being the face of the main villain in the upcoming Far Cry title.

This is not the first time that a celebrity appearance will enrich the Far Cry universe. If the reports come out to be true, then the famous Peaky Blinders actor could be following in the footsteps of Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito and Better Call Saul’s Michael Mendo, who featured in Far Cry 6 and Far Cry 3, respectively, as the main antagonists.

If he's in it hopefully he gets plenty of screen time because one problem with far cry 6 was we didn't see esposito enough.
