Ubisoft bravely attempted to switch things up with Primal by returning to prehistoric times. However, an upcoming title seems to take inspiration from the Ubisoft franchise, adding dinosaurs and mech suits.

Ubisoft’s first-person shooter franchise has been top-rated in the mainstream despite the last two installments not being as good as the first three mainline games. While they aren’t common nowadays, titles like Dino Crisis and Turok were incredibly successful for their time.
They resonated with their target audience at a time when classic Jurassic Park movies were all the rage. Combining Jurassic Park with Ubisoft’s franchise comes the single-player first-person shooter video game Ferocious.

As stated in the Tweet, the game will also feature Mech Suits, similar to titles from the Titanfall series. While the game looks to be in the early stages, as there seems to be no HUD in the video, it was enough to excite fans.

Recently, there have been survival games, such as the ARK series, which also received a new installment in late 2024. But it feels like the upcoming game is in a different league as it looks to combine excellent mechanics from some incredibly loved titles.
Firstly, the game looks gorgeous and combines elements like self-healing in a way that will remind fans of Far Cry 3, widely regarded as one of the best games in Ubisoft’s franchise. And the mech suits seem like they could create unparalleled chaos in the game’s world.
