The Rising Tide will mark the second addition to the game’s content. It was directed by Naoki Yoshida, who revealed new details in a recent interview.
Yoshida talked about his experience working on a complete AAA project, something he had never done before. He has previously directed Final Fantasy 14 Online and Tactics. In the interview, it was revealed how the process behind creating this new, highly anticipated game was praised by fans and critics. Yoshida mentioned this possibility, but he is really focused on releasing this new DLC. This new franchise entry was one of the best of the entire main series of titles. It is only logical that he really wants to make players happy with the new content ahead. The fans of this IP and owners of a PS5 were very happy for the last two years with the release of two very astounding games in the franchise that were almost perfect.
The future of this saga is bright; it is probably one of the few names that has made Square Enix sell very well in the last couple of years. Other titles like Marvel’s Avengers were not so lucky; fans didn’t really like this superhero adaptation. This Japanese developer knows how to sell out his core games, like Final Fantasy and all of its possible spin-offs. There will always be eager fans to acquire these titles.
