Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, released in 2021, is nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece. The movie’s second part is finally getting released. The movie’s cast is busy appearing for press junkets and interviews.

While on the red carpet for the London premiere of the movie, Florence Pugh and Timothee Chalamet were interviewed by BBC News (via Enticers on Youtube). When asked what it has been like to join the cast, Pugh said:

“I’ve been saying all along I got to fall in love with this movie the world did and then I got to be part of the second so I just arrived on the set, ruined one of their scenes one day, said ‘Hi!’ and then we just got to it.”

Timothee Chalamet chimed in to say:

“She came for the most dramatic inopportune moment.”

Pugh went on to explain, saying:

“Denis told me to come to set and I was like ‘Yeah, I’ll come meet everyone,’ and they were doing probably one of the most intense scenes of the movie.”

Chalamet then said that the acting in that particular scene should have been 100 percent and it is only 70 percent. Now, fans have to figure out which scene the actors are talking about.

When asked to compare the character to some of her other memorable roles, Pugh told BBC News:

“She’s completely different to anything I’ve ever done before. Still with the same wisdom and bolshiness but it’s all subdued, so I got to spread wings in a different position maybe, and I got to have Denis lead me the way which everyone on this cast feels very lucky to have done so.”

Florence Pugh is not the only new actor who has joined the cast of the movie’s second part. Elvis star Austin Butler and Furiosa star Anya Taylor-Joy have also joined the star cast of the movie.

Dune: Part Two is hitting the cinemas on March 1, 2024.
