Jennifer Aniston And Adam Sandler Reunited After Almost a Decade
Having been great friends since the early 1990s, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston first shared the screen for Just Go With It in 2011. Turning it into a commercial success, the duo reunited all over again in 2019 for their Netflix original Murder Mystery.
Playing the role of a married couple caught in the middle of a whodunnit in the 2019 film, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston reunited again, four years later in 2023 for its sequel. Appearing in Murder Mystery 2, the duo picked up the story from where they left off in the first installment.
Sandler and Aniston playing the role of Nick and Audrey Spitz (respectively) try to launch their private-eye agency as full-time detectives. And certainly, the duo had a fun time on set, while filming their sequel. But out of all, the actor had a hilarious moment while filming the kissing scene with Aniston.
Adam Sandler Teased Jennifer Aniston’s Kissing Technique
Speaking with USA Today, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston spoke about their new movie Murder Mystery 2. During the interview, the duo shared their work experience and spoke about their long-term friendship. Further, Sandler and Aniston recalled the hilarious moment from filming their Netflix sequel.
Discussing their intimate scene during the interview, the duo recalled how they prepped for the scene. Aniston mentioned asking the actor to apply beard oil, while Sandler teased the actress about her onscreen kissing technique. Joking about how Jennifer Aniston would always come at him with her “big wide mouth”, Sandler recalled begging Aniston to close her mouth.
“‘For God’s sake, keep your mouth closed.’ It was so wide! Every time, she’d come with a big, wide mouth, and I’d be like, ‘Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho, whoa! What are we doing?’”
While Jennifer Aniston’s kiss didn’t actually harm Adam Sandler no matter how wide open her mouth was, the actor did get a few blows on his hand from his co-star. The actor recalled being punched in the face by Mark Strong. But overall, they all had a fun experience and enjoyed working together.
