The newest teaser for Chapter 5 of Season 2 comes from the famous @HYPEX on X. The teaser picture depicts a constellation of a man holding a thunderbolt, most likely Zeus from Greek mythology. This one picture has confirmed many of the rumors that have been circulating regarding the theme of the latest chapter.

Back in December, HYPEX put out a tweet with some cursory information regarding the new chapter for Season 2. The tweet went over some of the skins revealed in a recent survey, which all followed a Greek theme. The new chapter was also codenamed “Aiga,” meaning “goat” in Greek, and would feature a new boss that spawned from lightning.

HYPEX had also posted that Pandora’s Box, dangling from the large arm emerging from the ground, would be opening today for 2-3 hours. Pandora’s box is another iconic element from Greek mythology, and the various aspects within the map, such as the house structures, buildings, and statues, all have a very Grecian theme to them.

One of the more exciting outcomes of the Ancient Greek theme is that players may have a legendary character coming to Fortnite. A new survey from Epic Games mentioned the 2005 version of God of War. The surveys typically hint at upcoming collaborations, so having a young Kratos skin or character would be totally in line with the Ancient Greek theme of the new chapter.

The latest chapter is focused on Valeria, as she has been setting up camp around the map in search of something. When she first moved, players could find a Cerberus symbol where her camp used to be.

While trying to take down Valeria, players will come access the skins of ancient Greek gods and creatures such as Zeus, Ares, Hades, Aphrodite, Artemis, Cerberus, and Medusa. Players will also have a chance to win an Odyssey skin, a rumored reward for completing quests in the Ranked Battle Royale or Zero Build mode.
