Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has arrived and Epic Games shared a new teaser just before that full of new content that the gaming community can expect to see soon. Among the new items is a powerful weapon that Helldivers 2 players are waiting to be added to the game.
The minigun was favored amongst the fans and it seems like the developers have worked on a new version that will be featured in the next season. While Epic Games had no problems with the weapon, Arrowhead Studios refuses to add it unless they meet one requirement.
The Minigun Is Coming Back for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

The minigun is a powerful weapon that can destroy anything standing in its way, and the latest chapter of the game will feature a new version of the weapon. The gaming community is already excited for the new season and the return of an iconic location could be the home of new items.
Some other things spotted in the new 2 second Fortnite: Wrecked teaser include:

The fans have the eyes of an eagle and have now spotted the minigun. The image quality may be obscured but it is not hard to make out that that is a minigun in all its glory and the following season will be inspired by a dystopian world and players will see the influence of the Mad Max franchise.
There is no telling whether there will be a mythic version of the gun with different stat levels of a base weapon or if players can stack attachments on it to make it even more efficient.
Fortnite Should Show the Helldivers 2 Players How It is Done
![Arrowhead Game Studios should take notes from Epic Games.](https://fwmedia.fandomwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/24031011/helldivers2-2-2-1024x576.jpg)
Director Johan Pilestedt did tease at one point that the developers would only add a minigun if the team would be able to figure out a realistic mechanic and make it feel balanced and not too overpowered. The director toyed around with the idea but never got around to adding it thus far which upsets the community because they could use all the extra firepower they can get.
Arrowhead Studios is leaning more towards a realistic and believable gaming experience which is a major contradiction with the mechanics and features of Epic Games’s live service title. Both developers have unique approaches that serve them well and shouldn’t replicate each other.
Helldivers 2 could feature a new minigun one day but the gaming community shouldn’t expect it to operate or feel anywhere near the Fortnite version. There is no need to compete or rush the design and efficiency of a weapon and let the developers work in peace.
