Fortnite is one of the most popular Battle Royale titles. The title has aged very well, especially when one looks at its player retention, considering it played out more than seven years ago. Epic Games has ensured that it has introduced various game modes and ways to play, capturing a larger audience.
Among all of these new game modes, some truly stand out. One such mode is Prop Hunt, which was introduced by the game recently. Another one based on Invincible, the animated TV series, seems to be getting traction, and for good reason.
Fortnite’s Invincible-inspired game mode, Rise of the Sequids, seems spectacular
When Fortnite introduced the concept of Islands, it allowed players to develop and implement their ideas as playable game modes. Skybound Games has developed a new experience titled Invincible: Rise of the Sequids using this feature in the title. This is undoubtedly exciting for those waiting for the animated series’ third season and fans of the title.
The game mode offers 10v10 Infection Style Combat; there are two teams of 10, one consisting of humans and the other of humans under the control of Sequids. Eliminating a player from the enemy team means the eliminated player will respawn as part of the opposing team.
The winning condition is reached when all the players become a part of one team. The game mode is set in the animated series’ universe coupled with the building mechanic for which the Epic Games title is famous. Invincible: Rise of the Sequids is the latest to come from Skybound Games and should be given a try because of its offerings and because it just came out; hence, it is more likely to see a higher player count. However, it is not the first or the only game mode in the animated series universe by Skybound Games.

The game mode mentioned above is the third inspired by the animated TV Series on Prime Video. Skybound Games has previously released others for the Epic Games’ Battle Royale game.

The first one on the list has already been described above and is a team deathmatch mixed with infection gameplay. The second one on the list (Doc Seismic Attacks) is a more narrative-driven PvE experience. Lastly, the GDA Combat Training offers a free-for-all shooter experience for players.
