Fortnite has been going for a long time, and is one of the most popular games to release over the past couple of years, with thousands of concurrent players. It constantly releases new updates every month or two, keeping content fresh and expanding on the battle royale world. Its roster of playable characters is always growing and now there is a new collaboration potentially coming to gamers with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

What Information Points Towards a Potential TMNT and Fortnite Collaboration?
Recently, a member of the Fortnite community went to Reddit to reveal some interesting information regarding a potential collaboration with TMNT. The individual revealed a few pieces of information pointing towards the potential upcoming crossover, but with all leaks, this must be taken with a grain of salt. At this point, this is all speculation and none of this has been confirmed in any way.
To start with, this information has been brought to Reddit by two people. The first is a known leaker who has dropped reputable leaks in the past, and that is Leaksxdefiant. The person who posted it to Reddit was ddman12, and on the post, they revealed a few different pieces of information heavily indicating an upcoming Fortnite and TMNT collaboration.
Regarding the leaked information, to start, there has been a yet-to-be-released skin in the Fortnite files, which is known as “FungusNinja.” However, this is a codename, and even though in the past codenames have been quite effective at deciphering upcoming skins, it doesn’t always pan out. In this file, there is 7MB worth of data inside, which points towards one skin, but that could mean there will be one skin and four variants, for each Ninja Turtle.
Next, there has been a discovery on the current game map during Chapter 4, which currently has a sewer location. When the location is approached, it makes strange sounds, and is located right next to a pizza shop with an arcade machine found within. This isn’t all, as there has also been a new perk found within the game’s files called “Ninja Training“, along with a pizza consumable. This heavily hint towards the Ninja Turtles surfacing.
Finally, somewhat unrelated to Fortnite, there have been a lot of games and media releasing TMNT content lately. There is clearly a significant trend throughout the industry and currently games like: Fall Guys, Street Fighter 6, Minecraft, and Session: Skate have all had game updates with content that has crossed over with the TMNT franchise. One might expect another crossover soon, especially with the new film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which recently hit theaters.

Will These Skins Be Overpriced and Have Accessories?
So far, if these leaks and theories are correct, many gamers will be worried about how much these new skins will cost and whether or not they will release like they have been teased by these leakers. If Fortnite follows its usual pattern, it will most likely cost a considerable amount to play as all four turtles. But if the skin does release as one skin for all of them, then that would be good news for most players as it will be like buying four skins for the price of one.
Even though this could be considered good news, unless each of these variants is highly different from the other, it would just be the same turtle skin with a different color mask. Many fans would be upset as it would show a lack of effort on Fortnite’s behalf.
So far, there is no information regarding any potential weapon skins or back bling for the TMNT crew. However, if these things do get released with extra accessories, they will most likely either have a complete bundle so players can buy the whole set in one go, or at least be able to buy the character and a bundle with the accessories altogether.
