Recently these skins have now arrived in the games Battle Hub as available for purchase, and so far, there are four ninja turtles that are purchasable; these skins are for Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello, and these skins can be used on the player’s self-created story character as costumes to use throughout the game.

Many gamers will be excited to get their hands on these skins as they will be able to kick butt as a TMNT in a Street Fighter game, but unfortunately, there is one circumstance that will most likely put players off, and that is the price of these skins. If a player were looking to buy just one of these skins, they would have to buy up to $15 worth of in-game currency to be able to purchase at least one of these four skins; if a player were looking to buy all four of the skins, they would be met with a hefty $60 price tag essentially the same price as the game itself.

If you ask most gamers who take part in this microtransaction society they will say that this is just how games work now; many games over the past few years have been leaning into this method of the transaction by adding skins and cosmetics to games that players can buy with in-game currency that they will then have to buy with real world money.

Unfortunately, this is just how the gaming economy works in this day and age, but does that make it worth it to buy these skins? For many gamers, especially more casual gamers who don’t get to put a lot of time into gaming, it wouldn’t be considered worth it to purchase these skins as they wouldn’t be able to appreciate them as much as a hardcore gamer would.

Due to this, many gamers would tend to buy only one of the skins if they fancied them something to their liking, definitely not all four, as the price tags are extremely steep. Would you buy these TMNT skins on Street Fighter 6? Or do you feel that they are too expensive? Let us know in the comments what you think!
