Fortnite’s fanbase is pretty open-minded; they accept the small changes that the developers bring to these games with every new update. Sometimes they would get new weapons, and other times they would get new equipment. New powerups, new ways to get around the game—things never stop changing in this game, and it’s not a bad thing either; these changes keep it fresh.

But sometimes there are some things that might sound trivial during the initial stages, but fans start hating them. There can be a bunch of reasons for it. Maybe one weapon is too overpowered, maybe fans do not love a powerup that gives players a brief moment of invincibility, or sometimes there are skins that allow players to blend into the environment. Similar to these examples, there are a bunch of things that fans want changed in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.

Mythic powers are too much

Epic Games never shies away from adding incredibly powerful and awesome-looking temporary superpowers to their games. Numerous such things have been part of Fortnite before, like weapons such as Thor’s Stormbreaker, Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet, and the lightsabers from Star Wars. All of them have proved that sometimes Fortnite could get very unfairly powerful weapons for sure.

Now, their latest addition to this ever-growing list of mythic weapons is making the lives of some players somewhat difficult. They do not love the fact that Thunderbolt of Zeus actually does unsurmountable damage to players; it’s all thanks to this power’s massive AOE range.

On the other hand, some fans cannot get themselves to appreciate the Wings of Icarus power-up. These wings allow players to soar through the skies in quick bursts. They look cool enough, but they are getting way more love from Dragon Ball fans due to an interesting glitch. Otherwise, a bunch of fans do not even want this item to exist in the game.

The loading screen

While the gameplay mechanics are usually the most important thing that one would expect gamers to worry about, there are some that are more worried about this game’s loading screen. It’s not clear what exactly they are not loving; maybe the problem is with the graphics that appear on that loading screen, but they must understand that those graphics can be changed. Players often get a bunch of optional loading screens that are unlockable, and they can equip their favorite ones.

The other takeaway from this question is that maybe they wanted developers to design a better screen based on the most recent season of Fortnite.

Lack of Save the World content

Fortnite Save the World

Years ago, when Fortnite started being a thing, it had one primary mode, which was called Save the World. It was a survival mode where players were to build structures to prepare themselves for oncoming enemy attacks. These enemies are zombie-like humanoids that are out for the player’s life.

It can be played co-op, and it has some creative ideas associated with it. But once the Battle Royale mode of this franchise became an unsurmountable success, it was as if Epic Games simply forgot the fact that Save the World existed.
